As many Fortnite fans likely recall, the Twitch streamer known as Tyler "Ninja" Blevins set a new record for a solo stream after playing Epic Games' multiplayer sandbox survival title with the recording artist Drake. Now, it appears as if the rapper's new album could actually be featuring a song about the game, as one of the tunes its track list has a name that references the hybrid construction shooter.

As seen in the Instagram post below, Drake officially debuted the track list for his next album Scorpion, with the final song on its B-Side being "March 14". For those unaware, the 13th track's name is the rapper giving a nod to the date on which he and Ninja teamed up for their Fortnite stream. Perhaps this song is the one that Drake promised, as he stated a few months ago that he would rap about the game if Epic made his "Hotline Bling" emote available in multiplayer sandbox survival shooter.

While Fortnite fans will surely be interested in what Drake has to say in "March 14", it's interesting to note that the penultimate track on Scorpion's B-Side is a reference to another video game – this time Square Enix's Final Fantasy series. With his clear admiration for the medium of gaming, maybe the rapper will pack in some good punchlines about the series as a whole and even give FF7's Sephiroth a good tongue-lashing.

Taking all of this into consideration, it's been obvious for quite a while that Fortnite fever is incredibly widespread and will continue to grow, but it's safe to presume that many didn't see its appeal becoming so far-reaching that such major recording artists as Drake would decide to dedicate a track title alluding to the game on their next album. Then again, one could also surmise that not a lot of folks saw the Battle Royale craze from last year reigniting excitement for the game type and it enduring this long either.

Fortnite is available now for iOS, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
