A new teaser trailer has been released for Arc System Works' upcoming DragonBall FighterZ, showing off Gohan in his Ultimate form. Adult Gohan, who was first introduced in the Buu Saga of DragonBall Z, has surpassed the Super Saiyan 2 state that he used to defeat Cell and is able to go toe-to-toe against opponents such as Super Saiyan Blue Goku in the currently-airing DragonBall Super.

The short but sweet trailer shows off some of Adult Gohan's moveset in DragonBall FighterZ, with classic attacks such as Masenko and Kamehameha once again being part of his arsenal. The character's finishing move is Super Kamehameha, a more devastating version of the iconic beam attack which can deal significant damage to enemies.

As previously revealed when Adult Gohan, Gotenks, and Kid Buu were announced back in Japanese magazine V-Jump, Gohan's new form will come with the power to unlock the great fighter's potential in the middle of combat. Having broken through his limits, Adult Gohan can consume his entire Ki Gauge at any moment in order to power up by a set amount and turn the tides of battle.

With only a little over a month until the release date of DragonBall FighterZ, we're eager to see what the developers have in store for us next. So far Arc System Works and Bandai Namco have worked together to release small teasers for the upcoming title every week or two and, if rumors are to be believed, there are a couple of additional characters still set to be unveiled before the game's launch.

With the DragonBallFighterZ's open beta dates still to be announced, the development team is being as secretive as ever with its highly-anticipated fighting game. Due to the title's rapidly-approaching release date, the beta testing period will likely be towards the end of December, or else at the beginning of next month, so that Arc System Works has time to take player feedback on board.

DragonBall FighterZ is set to arrive on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on January 26, 2018.
