Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot fans have been waiting with bated breath for its upcoming DB Super DLC. It appears that the first DLC is bridging the small gap between the Gods of the Universe Z arc and the God of Destruction Super arc for something somewhat original.

The first DLC is officially titled "A New Awakening (Part 1: Whis' Training)" and is confirmed to release in Spring 2020, feature Whis training to unlock Super Saiyan God, and have a new boss battle with Beerus. The latter is likely to be something similar to the Bonyu Battle in Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot.

Now, it appears that a new trailer for the DLC has dropped online, though it is the briefest of teases. As seen below, this 15 second teaser trailer shows off gameplay from the core game before ending on Super Saiyan God Goku and Beerus. The aura for SSG Goku is certainly fitting, and the graphics/attack of Beerus give players pause, but nothing major has been revealed.

As such, the wait for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot's Super DLC continues, but with Spring 2020 dwindling away, official word should come sooner rather than later. It would be beneficial, though, for those waiting if the publisher revealed a DLC roadmap like Borderlands 3.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
