This Friday, Bandai Namco's singleplayer story-based RPG Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is releasing for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One. The launch of Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is just the beginning of a strong lineup of games releasing this year, which will include Final Fantasy 7 remake, Resident Evil 3 remake, Cyberpunk 2077, The Last of Us 2, and many more.

Now, players who still haven't pre-ordered Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot would be happy to know that Amazon and Walmart are currently offering the cheapest price for the pre-purchase of the upcoming game. Both retailers are offering Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot for a slight discount of $50.99, which is 17% cheaper than most retailers who are offering the game at the full price of $59.99. Of course, while the discount is not as massive as some might hope, Amazon and Walmart's deal is currently the cheapest for the game we know so far.

Most recently, Bandai Namco released a new trailer for the upcoming game that is all about the rivalry between Goku and Vegeta. The preview features narration from the series' favorite villain, Vegeta, as he reflects on his struggle to reach the level of power that Goku obtained naturally. The latest trailer mostly showed a montage of several gameplay clips focused on Goku but it also included several of the iconic villains in the Dragon Ball Z series.

Several weeks ago, another trailer was also released by Bandai Namco that featured the original English narrator of the anime series. The latest preview definitely brought nostalgia to longtime Dragon Ball Z fans, which also proved Bandai Namco's dedication to make the upcoming game a faithful retelling of the Dragon Ball Z story.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is set to release on January 17, 2020, for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
