Typically in the week of a new game release, its trophy and achievement list tend to appear online, sometimes revealing surprising details about the game. That's the case with the upcoming Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, with its full trophy list now available and confirming a surprise villain that players will encounter at some point during the game. Anyone that wants to go into Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot completely blind will want to be warned that this article has some spoilers for the game.

There's a Gold trophy in Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot called "Down with the Demon Realm!" Players can unlock the trophy by defeating Mira, who is a Dragon Ball Z villain that fans will not recognize from the anime or original manga. That's because Mira is not part of any of the Dragon Ball Z anime story arcs, but rather, is a character that originated in the game Dragon Ball Online and became much more well-known thanks to his Dragon Ball Xenoverse and Xenoverse 2 appearances.

Since Mira is not part of any major Dragon Ball Z story arc, it's possible that he will appear in a side quest. We have known for some time that Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot will expand on the original story with its side quests, with a promise to even answer some lingering questions about the franchise.

Besides the Mira reveal, the Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot trophy list is about what one would expect from the game. Players will be rewarded for advancing through the story, but they will also be rewarded for doing things like collecting the Dragon Balls to summon Shenron or participating in the game's various side activities like building machines and cooking food.

Based on the trophy list, it seems like Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot will take a decent amount of time to fully complete. It's been stated that the game will take 35-40 hours to beat the main story, whereas completionists are looking at a whopping 80-100 hours before they can get the Platinum trophy. Oftentimes video game length is exaggerated prior to release, though, so fans will have to wait and see.

Luckily, they won't have to wait much longer, as the Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot release date is right around the corner.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot will launch on January 17 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
