Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot fans have been waiting since launch for the Time Machine to be added to the game, and now publisher Bandai Namco Entertainment has finally issued word on when players will be able to do just that. The best part is that is just one of many recent reveals that are painting the future of the game, if only DBZ: Kakarot's season pass was slightly more detailed, but at least it is a glimpse.

The Time Machine drops tomorrow on March 20th as part of an update to the game, and it'll allow players to travel back to the various story arcs available in-game. This will allow players to relive certain story moments, as well as complete missed side quests. Presumably, Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot's Time Machine will be able to do more than that, as the functionality sounds incredibly useful, but at this moment, there's limited information as to its future capabilities.

What's interesting is how this is just a portion of the big weekend for the game. Not only does this Time Machine drop tomorrow, but on Saturday, concrete information concerning Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot's DLC is said to drop. This will hopefully shine some light on the few details out now, which basically state that in lieu of a story, players will receive a training module with Whis and Beerus will serve as another endgame boss like Bonyu. Super Saiyan God Goku and Vegeta will also be joining the roster as separate playable characters.

It's also worth mentioning that this DLC is just part of the aforementioned season pass, with other leaks also suggesting that the Broly movies will be adapted. This would seemingly suggest that Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot will receive two season passes, but at this time, that's mostly speculation.

Either way, it would make sense if the Time Machine was used as a conduit to introduce DLC, taking players back to the proper time to face off with the "Legendary Super Saiyan" at some point in the future. But for now, it can be used as side quest clean-up, which will hopefully add some much needed replayability to Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
