Although publisher Bandai Namco Entertainment has been relatively quiet on Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot's DLC following its official base launch, more and more information has become available as of late. Recently, a slew of new DBZ: Kakarot screenshots confirmed Oracle Fish would appear in the DLC, which is somewhat surprising given the way the DLC has been portrayed so far. It seems that eyes have turned to a bigger catch, though, as Beerus vs. Super Saiyan God Goku gameplay has appeared online.

A teaser trailer showing the two aforementioned figures was also revealed not long ago, so before moving forward, it's worth mentioning that Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot seems to be building up to something big. Presumably, this would be DBZ: Kakarot's DLC release date and an official full-blown trailer, especially since it is slated for a Spring 2020 release date. There's not much more that could be revealed at this point, truth be told.

As seen below, this gameplay footage courtesy of reporter @DbsHype captures most of what players can expect from the fight, showing a little of how Super Saiyan God Goku plays, the moveset that both characters have, and how the God of Destruction can be stunned. It's hard to be disappointed with this, especially in terms of what first gameplay footage could show. It maintains the signature Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot fighting style, but the ante seems to be up given the sheer attitude of the fight in the upcoming Super DLC.

There are still a couple of questions that this footage does not answer, with perhaps the biggest being whether or not Super Saiyan God is a transformation or a new playable character. While the former may be preferable, that ignores the various transformations already available to Goku and even ignores Super Saiyan Blue, which should be added sooner or later. Others are how to turn the Kamehameha red, what level this fight is, and if is another fight like Bonyu.

All in due time, though, and with the amount of information currently available, it seems fans should expect that information on Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot relatively soon.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
