A couple of days ago, Bandai Namco finally revealed the release date of Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, which is set to launch on January 17, 2020. The game will allow players to explore the vast universe of Dragon Ball Z, and relive Goku's adventures as he embarks on several quests and epic battles. The game is set to release for the PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

Now that the release date is finally confirmed, we have scoured all the major video game retailers including Amazon, Bandai Namco Store, Best Buy, GameStop, Playstation Store, Steam, Target, Walmart and the Xbox Store for the best pre-order deal. At the time of writing, the stores offering the cheapest pre-order of Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot are Amazon, Target, and Walmart, who are currently offering the game for $49.94, which is $10 cheaper than the rest of the retailers, who have listed the game for the standard price of $59.99.

Bandai Namco has also unveiled the pre-order bonuses for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, which will be a good incentive for players to pre-order the game. The bonuses include early access to Bonyu's training, a cooking item that increases the player's melee attack and HP, and an exclusive side-quest. Amazon's pre-order listing includes all the aforementioned pre-order bonuses, but Walmart's pre-order page for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot does not indicate the bonuses, so it is currently unclear whether the store is offering the same freebies.

Yesterday, Bandai Namco also released a new Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot trailer at the 2019 Tokyo Game Show, which confirms the inclusion of the Buu Saga in the game. Prior to yesterday's trailer, it was unclear how far the game will cover Dragon Ball Z's story, but now we finally know that the upcoming single-player RPG will cover every Dragon Ball Z saga. The trailer also showcased some iconic moments in Dragon Ball Z such as Gohan's transformation to Super Saiyan 2, and an epic battle between Goku and Frieza, and a brief appearance of Majin Buu.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is set to release on January 17, 2020, for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
