Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is out now, allowing players to take on the role of Goku, Gohan, and more throughout the events of the Z storyline. Considering DBZ: Kakarot's length, it stands to reason that few have made it to the end yet, but that hasn't stopped some data miners from scouring the game to see what could come next. Now, one dataminer has found files in the game code that suggest that a DLC based on the original movies concerning Broly are a real possibility.

As seen below, these files contain bits of a conversation by Videl, Mr. Satan's Daughter, and mentions both the game's dragon balls and Broly. It is worth mentioning that this could just be cut content or content that was never intended to be implemented in the game, but assuming that this is, in fact, a suggestion of Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot's DLC content, this conversation points toward the inclusion of Dragon Ball Z: Broly - Second Coming in the season pass.

Notably, though, Second Coming is a sequel to Dragon Ball Z: Broly - The Legendary Super Saiyan, so if the game were to include the second movie, it stands to reason that the events of the first movie would also appear. After all, without it, there wouldn't be much context (in Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, at least) of Broly's hatred for Goku, which manifests here as he is enraged by Gohan and Goten.

In brief, the first movie establishes the connection between Goku and Broly, in which the latter hates the former for his incessant crying as a child. There's a fight on New Vegeta, in which Broly is presumably defeated. Second Coming reveals this is not the case, with the character ending up on Earth while Goku is dead. Gohan and Goten have to use the Dragon Balls in order to defeat Broly, culminating in an epic moment where Goku, Gohan, and Goten defeat him with a combined attack.

This isn't unlike the infamous Father-Son Kamehameha of the Cell Saga but is obviously a bit more emotional and powerful as it's not just Goku and Gohan, but Goku and both his sons. Well before Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot shows Goku as a good dad, it's clear that Goku always has been in his own way. Either way, it'll be interesting to see what comes of this datamine if anything at all, so for now, fans will just have to wait and see.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
