Remember YibbityFlibbity? He's the Redditor that beat Beerus in 45 seconds with 1 HP. Well, he's outdone himself now, as he has defeated Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot's most difficult boss, level 250 Beerus, while blindfolded. The entire battle is documented in the video below.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot's first DLC adds Beerus, the God of Destruction, to the game as a boss fight. Beerus is without question the most difficult challenge players can face in the game, both because of his insanely high level, damage, and health, and also because of his seemingly random fighting style and unique techniques.

YibbityFlibbity doesn't seem to care about all that, though, as he managed to take down the God of Destruction with Super Saiyan God Goku while blindfolded. The feat is an impressive one, especially when considering that Kakarot's devs fought Beerus 10 times and only won once.

YibbityFlibbity's strategy is much the same as last time, although in this case he uses Super Saiyan God Goku's superior Melee ATK stat. Essentially, he keeps Beerus stunlocked by interrupting his basic attack combos at the right time (right after Goku's roundhouse kick) with a vanish. Repeating this technique enough times with the right Know-how abilities equipped eventually causes Beerus to break, allowing for massive damage at no risk. YibbityFlibbity understands Goku's strengths and weaknesses, and opts to use his Ki Attacks in a defensive manner rather than offensively.

Luckily, Beerus has very recognizable audio queues that telegraph his movements even to a blind player. Because of this, YibbityFlibbity is able to respond correctly to each of Beerus' attacks even though he can't see them. For those still struggling or wondering how to beat Beerus in Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, it all comes down to knowing how to counter each of his moves. When ever Beerus charges his Spheres of Destruction, notice how YibbityFlibbity uses Goku's God Kamehameha to dispel the beams. The Shockwave and God of Destruction's Rampage attacks can be easily cancelled out with a well timed Burst, and his Beerus Ball and God of Destruction's Wrath attacks can be avoided with a high speed dash or by spamming vanish.

YibbityFlibbity's accomplishment is no doubt impressive, but it does call into question some of the issues fans have with Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot. While most would agree that Beerus was a fun and engaging boss fight that truly challenged some players, it is clear that even he can end up being too easy for some. Hopefully DLC 2 ramps up the difficulty a bit more.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is available now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
