Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 revealed two more DLC Characters coming to the game, based on the franchise's most recent theatrical film, Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero. It's been nearly six years after the game's original release, but Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is still getting support to this day from Dimps and Bandai Namco. This extensive amount of post-launch support has seen several characters and abilities being added after launch, including the player unlocking the power of Ultra Instinct for themselves in the game.

Post-launch support isn't stopping anytime soon either, as Bandai Namco revealed the next packs of DLC will be based on Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero. This movie follows Piccolo, Gohan, and more in their fight against the Red Ribbon Army, along with the new Android adversaries Gamma 1 and 2. Earlier in September, Gamma 2 was revealed as the first DLC character of Xenoverse 2's upcoming Hero of Justice Pack Set. A new trailer reveals the remaining two characters of the first pack.

The trailer starts off with an abridged version of the first trailer, demonstrating Gamma 2's abilities and moveset against Piccolo. After Gamma 2's introduction, Gamma 1 flies in as well, demonstrating his moveset as well and how he stands apart from his brother. Gamma 1 utilizes a flurry of kicks and his blaster into his attacks, with one super attack firing a concentrated energy beam at his opponent.

The end of the trailer shows Piccolo on the ropes, clearly outmatched against the two Androids. With the Z-Warrior nearly at his end, a voice calls out to him, shortly revealed to be Gohan, flying in to help. This version is clearly based on Gohan's look in Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, complete with disheveled hair and glasses. Once he enters the fight, he demonstrates his Ultimate Gohan transformation skill, along with his set of abilities against Gamma 1, the trailer noting this version to be called "Gohan (DBS Super Hero)" to differentiate him from the other versions of the character in the game.

The trailer ends with the three characters being confirmed for the first DLC Pack, with no release window other than this Fall. The second part of this pack also has no firm release window either, with fans speculating this pack will contain the additions of Gohan and Piccolo's newest transformations from the movie. While some are thrilled to see the movie being represented in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, others think that the game has run its course and things would be better suited for a third game instead.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is available now on PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
