Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 has received a surprising amount of support from the developers. Even four years after its release, it's still getting DLC and free updates.

The most recent update for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is the upcoming Legendary Pack 1. Like the prior DLC, this one will include an extra story that's going to involve Fu messing with the timeline and creating time rifts again. The Legendary Pack's March 18th release date was just recently announced by Bandai Namco. The director has confirmed that this pack still doesn't mean the end of development on the game.

Just today Bandai Namco has released a new trailer for Legendary Pack 1 detailing everything that's going to be in the update. The DLC package has a lot of interesting new additions for Xenoverse 2 players, like new characters Pikkon and Toppo, who had already been revealed. This trailer shows off some of Pikkon and Toppo's moves, as well as the new story content surrounding them. The trailer confirms there's also new Parallel Quests and Extra Missions and new techniques, costumes, and super souls available for the player avatar.

Along with the paid DLC, and one of the characters who should have already been added to Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, the game is also getting a free update on the 18th. Among the new content is also an in-game stylist who can customize the player's hairstyle, hair color, and skin color. The free update will also include new outfits and accessories; one of the new costumes coming with the free update includes Bulma's Dragon Ball Super outfit and another includes Fu's clothes.

As part of this update, the player will also be able to participate in a vote for what content will be coming to the game in the future. From March 17th to the 31st, the player will be able to vote on a future playable character. Then, from the 31st to April 15th they'll be able to vote on a future costume for the player characters. Finally from April 15th to the 30th, they'll be able to vote on a CC Mascot, which will float over the player's shoulder and follow them around. The new potential characters include Dyspo, Android 18, and Bergamo, as well as new forms for Goku and Vegeta.

This new content should be really exciting for Dragon Ball Xenoverse fans. While there is a good case to be made for a Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3, it must be great for fans to see the love and care that the developers are putting into the current game, even this far into its life cycle. It's really interesting that the developers are letting the players have an input into the future of the game.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is available now for PC, PlayStation 4, Stadia, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One.
