Dragon Ball video games are often popular because they allow the players to use the iconic moves that they've seen throughout the series, such as the Kamehameha and the Final Flash. As one of the most iconic Shonen anime ever, Dragon Ball has a lot of exciting moves, techniques, and transformations, so many fans would jump at the chance to use them for themselves.

While many of the franchise's video games tend to feature moves used in the original manga and anime, sometimes they also create moves and techniques unique games. Whether they are new techniques given to classic characters or moves created for completely original characters, these video game-exclusice techniques are just as exciting as those in the anime and manga.

10 Gekiretsu Shin'ou'hou

Dragon Ball Kibito Kai using Gekiretsu Shin'ou'hou

While the Supreme Kai plays a large role in the Buu Saga, he does not see much combat, serving as a supporting character instead. As a result, he does not have a lot of moves to pull from for an in-game moveset, which means original moves are necessary.

Gekiretsu Shin'ou'hou was created as the Supreme Kai's (as well as his fused form Kibito Kai's) ultimate move for his appearance in Super Butoden 3. To this day remains one of his signature attacks throughout many of his appearances as a playable character, such as in Budokai Tenkaichi 3.

9 Time Bullet

Dragon Ball Towa using Time Bullet on an opponent

Time Bullet is one of Towa's Super Skills in Dragon Ball Xenoverse. Unlike many of the other techniques on this list, Time Bullet is not an offensive attack. Instead, Towa uses it to restrain her foes in a sphere of magical energy.

Time Bullet also appears in Dragon Ball Heroes, where it is referred to as Hell Bullet. While Time Bullet may not be as flashy as other techniques, it is certainly a very useful ability to have, and is especially suitable for a manipulative villain like Towa.

8 Connoisseur Cut

Dragon Ball Android 21 using Connoisseur Cut on Base Vegeta

Android 21 is an original character created for Dragon Ball FighterZ, and Connoisseur Cut is one of her signature special moves. This command grab allows Android 21 to absorb a move from the opponent. The move that Android 21 receives from this grab depends on the version of Connoisseur Cut used and the type of opponent she absorbed it from.

Connoisseur Cut forms a big part of Android 21's gameplay. With it, she can gain access to a large number of moves that she wouldn't normally have. The technique represents Android 21's unique ability to absorb the techniques of others.

7 Dark Rebellion Trigger

Dragon Ball Masked Saiyan using the Dark Rebellion Trigger

Dark Rebellion Trigger is a move used by Xeno Bardock, when he is under Towa's control as the Masked Saiyan. It is a dark version of his normal Rebellion Trigger attack that sends a massive beam of dark energy towards the opponent.

The first appearance of Dark Rebellion Trigger is in Dragon Ball Heroes. The Masked Saiyan also has a stronger version of the move called Darkness Rebellion Trigger, as well as a version of the move used in his Great Ape form called Super Dark Rebellion Cannon.

6 Remote Serious Bomb

Dragon Ball Fu using the Remote Serious Bomb

Fu's Ultimate Skill in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is a stronger version of the move used by Mira. Fu draws his unique symbol and then sends it forward towards his opponent. He can then trap the opponent in a red energy sphere, and then cause it to explode whenever he wants.

Remote Serious Bomb also has a secondary effect that seals the opponent's Awoken Skills. This is a powerful move for an equally powerful villain like Fu, whose role as an antagonist continues on in Dragon Ball Heroes.

5 Villainous Mode

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Playable Character using Villainous Mode

This demonic transformation is used by Towa and Demigra in Dragon Ball Xenoverse to mind-control others while increasing their strength and maliciousness, even granting new abilities they couldn't previously use. The transformation is powered by the Demon Realm's Dark Magic.

This mode is dangerous because it increases the user's evil intent, turning even heroic characters like Gohan and Trunks into mindless, violent slaves. It is one of the Demon Realm's most useful abilities, and Towa and Demigra use the transformation liberally across their various appearances in the games.

4 Galaxy Spirit Sword

Dragon Ball Xeno Vegito charging up Galaxy Spirit Sword

Dragon Ball Heroes crosses parallel worlds and timelines, and Xeno Vegito is one character who embodies this. An alternate version of Vegito with the ability to transform into a Super Saiyan 4, Galaxy Spirit Sword serves as this powerful fusion's signature moves.

An even stronger version of the attack called Galaxy Eternal Sword is used by Super Saiyan 4 Xeno Vegito once he has reached full power. Both moves are fairly similar, and involve a slashing combo that ends with a slash from an enlarged version of the sword.

3 100x Big Bang Kamehameha

Dragon Ball Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta charging up 100x Big Bang Kamehameha

The Big Bang Kamehameha is a fusion technique created by fusing Vegeta's Big Bang Attack with Goku's Kamehameha. It is the signature attack of their fusion Gogeta, particularly the Super Saiyan 4 version.

While 100x Big Bang Kamehameha is never used in the anime, it is considered one of Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta's most powerful attacks, and it is therefore one of the most powerful techniques in Dragon Ball. While it looks visually similar to a regular Big Bang Kamehameha, the damage and energy used is incomparable.

2 Atomic Kamehameha

Dragon Ball Xeno Gogeta firing Atomic Kamehameha

The Atomic Kamehameha is another technique used by Gogeta, this time an alternate universe version of the character called Xeno Gogeta. This move combines Xeno Vegeta's Double Atomic Flash and Xeno Goku's Kamehameha, and it is used by Xeno Gogeta in his Super Saiyan 4 form.

Just like 100x Big Bang Kamehameha is Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta's ultimate attack, Atomic Kamehameha serves as Super Saiyan 4 Xeno Gogeta's Super Attack in Dragon Ball Heroes. That also makes it one of the strongest attacks in the Dragon Ball franchise.

1 Five-Way Fusion

Dragon Ball Fusion characters performing a Five Way Fusion

Dragon Ball Fusions was an interesting video game that allowed players to create bizarre combinations using the power of fusion. While 2-way fusions generally make up the bulk of the game's fusions, there is a way to create a temporary five-way fusion.

The Five-Way Fusion, as the name suggests, takes five characters and fuses them into a single warrior based on the character that initiated the fusion. While the resulting fusion's duration is very short, it will revive any knocked out party members, making the Five-Way Fusion a great comeback tool as well.
