The first fight between Vegeta and Goku is the stuff of legends in Dragon Ball Z. Watching these two iconic Saiyans duke it out never ceases to be entertaining, and many fans cite this episode as a favorite.

After turning into a Super Saiyan, Vegeta wasted no time in dishing out a serious thrashing. The manner in which he destroyed Android 19 was one of the most satisfying moments in the series.

6 His Final Flash Against Cell

Cell's fight against Gohan is the stuff of legends, and one of the best battles in the entire series. However, it's possible that Cell would've won this fight against Super Saiyan 2 Gohan, had it not been for the intervention of the Z Fighters.
Vegeta and the others unleashed their own attacks on Cell to distract him and help Gohan land the final blow with his one-handed Kamehameha. It allowed for one of the most iconic moments in Dragon Ball Z, and even though Vegeta wasn't the star, it wouldn't have been possible without him.
4 Blowing Up The World Martial Arts Stadium
After letting Babidi take control of his mind, Majin Vegeta tried to convince Goku to settle the score with a rematch. However, Goku was unwilling to get into what he considered to be a fruitless endeavor.
So, Vegeta decided to pull out all the stops and murder a bunch of civilians to provoke Goku — by causing a massive explosion in the World Martial Arts Stadium. This worked like a charm, and Goku and Vegeta went to an abandoned area to settle their differences in battle.
3 The Sacrifice He Made To Destroy Majin Buu
After realizing the error of his ways during his fight against Goku, Vegeta realizes he has to right his wrongs. This was especially necessary given the resurrection of Majin Buu, who was intent on carnage and destruction.
However, even Vegeta's strongest attacks were no match against the might of Majin Buu. So, in a bid to destroy this creature once and for all, Vegeta decided to sacrifice himself in a powerful explosion. His heartfelt monologue preceding this heroic action has become legendary among fans of Dragon Ball Z.
2 His Final Explosion To Defeat Top
The fight against Majin Buu wasn't the only time when Vegeta decided to sacrifice himself to defeat an enemy. He also employed this last-ditch effort in Dragon Ball Super ,during the Tournament of Power.
During his fight against Top in his Destroyer God form, Vegeta realized that he needed to pull out all the stops. This resulted in the re-use of the Final Explosion move. This time, though, Vegeta managed to survive the move!
1 Transforming Into The New Ultra Ego Form
The latest highlight in Vegeta's history comes in the Dragon Ball Super manga, during his fight against Granolah. After being pushed to the brink, Vegeta decided to unveil a new form that has already become legendary in the Dragon Ball canon.
The Prince of All Saiyans transformed into a form that was reminiscent of a Destroyer God. He called this form the Ultra Ego form, which sent fans into a frenzy as they witnessed their favorite character become as powerful as Goku on his own terms.
