Dragon Ball: The Breakers continues to be a work-in-progress for the team at Bandai Namco as a new update arrives with several important fixes. The latest update should allow Dragon Ball: The Breakers fans to match up with other players without connection errors and game-breaking bugs going forward.

Powerful Dragon Ball Z villains such as Cell, Frieza, and Majin Buu hunt down a group of survivors in Dragon Ball: The Breakers. A standard match in Dragon Ball: The Breakers consists of one Raider and seven survivors in an asymmetrical multiplayer struggle for survival. Although Raiders are a lot stronger than survivors, the group of survivors may stand a chance at escaping by working together. Following the game's October launch, Bandai Namco has been hard at work to ensure matchmaking and gameplay features work as intended. The new update brings important fixes that will ensure matches are fair for Raiders and survivors alike in Dragon Ball: The Breakers.

A major Dragon Ball: The Breakers update launched shortly after the scheduled maintenance on November 14, and patch notes reveal the true extent of fixes and adjustments for the game. Various matchmaking bug fixes were applied to resolve connection errors players would face while in the versus screen and loading into a match. Further, several fixes were made for gameplay mechanics including revives, Shenron summoning, and Super Attacks. Players who linked their Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 account with Dragon Ball: The Breakers will have valid Breakers Points once more after installing the latest update.

Previously, multiple user reports indicated that players could be revived while in spectator mode and interrupting the normal revive process would lock teammates from being able to revive a downed ally. Raiders in Dragon Ball: The Breakers could also gain an unfair advantage in matches by disabling Shenron summons after using an Ultimate Super Attack. The new Dragon Ball: The Breakers update address these issues to level the playing field between Raiders and survivors.

Since Dragon Ball: The Breakers is an online multiplayer title, updates and bug fixes are vital to maintaining a healthy player base. Fortunately, Bandai Namco is transparent with its updates and encourages players to submit feedback for future updates. Dragon Ball: The Breakers still has known issues to resolve, but each update is noticeably improving the game just one month after launch.

Dragon Ball fans may look forward to new PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions of Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot in January 2023. Dragon Ball: Xenoverse 2 will continue to receive DLC, and more updates are planned for Dragon Ball: The Breakers in the immediate future.

Dragon Ball: The Breakers is available now for PC, PlayStation 4, Switch, and Xbox One.
