When Dragon Ball FighterZ released about two weeks ago, it seemed that fans of the series around the world rushed to pick up the game, making it the quickest franchise title to ship 2 million units. While the game offers many notable fighters such as Beerus, Hit, and original character Android 21, Tien currently seems to be getting some extra attention.

It seems that way because Tien can turn a specific opponent invisible, although it is by no means an easy feat. Certain conditions have to be met in the combat of Dragon Ball FighterZ, and none of them are simple. First, the only character that Tien can turn invisible is none other than Android 21 and only at a specific moment.

While Tien is fighting any other character (and Android 21 is in the opposing team’s roster), he must unleash the “Farewell, Tien…” super special attack, while the other play calls Android 21 in for an assist move. If done and timed properly, Chiaotzu will attach and self-destruct, dealing tons of damage and rendering Android 21 invisible. While Chiaotzu’s sacrifice is committed in vain in the anime, here Chiaotzu at least unleashes some chaos. Check out the glitch in the video below.

Due to the complicated intricacies of the glitch, many players may have beaten the game without ever seeing the glitch, especially considering the length of the story mode. However, it seems likely that Bandai Namco will patch it soon. Players who utilize Android 21 may want to avoid Tien until then, or at the very least, avoid her assist move against Tien. With that being said, until it is patched, local players can try out the glitch themselves in local multiplayer.

Hopefully, as the game moves forward with DLC, this will be the only glitch of this sort. With Broly, Bardock, Zamasu, Vegito, Cooler, and Ranger Android 17 serving as potential DLC characters, the game seems to have a clear line of sight towards it post-release goals. That is, of course, if Tien doesn’t turn any of the aforementioned characters invisible.

Dragon Ball FighterZ is available now for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
