Dragon Ball FighterZ has been adding characters consistently since its launch, with publisher Bandai Namco Entertainment recently revealing the release date for Super Saiyan Blue Gogeta. The company also revealed his God Punisher and Meteor Explosion attack, with the former being multiple energy blasts that can also unleash a Stardust Breaker blast and the latter being a dash punch that ends with a full-power Kamehameha. Now, a new trailer gives players a look at these attacks and more for Super Saiyan Blue Gogeta.

The new trailer begins with Gogeta's intro sequence in Dragon Ball FighterZ before pitting him against Janemba, Broly, and Cooler. For those interested in the character, it's definitely a good look into his ability, as the player manages to rack up a 40+ combo and showcase the aforementioned attacks. It's clear that Gogeta is a speed-oriented character, managing to land a variety of blows in a short time, so it'll be interesting to see how he shakes up the meta.

After all, the aforementioned play style seems befitting that of Mortal Kombat 11 EVO champion Dominique "SonicFox" McLean, but it's quick enough that the more defensive and technical Dragon Ball FighterZ EVO champion Goichi "GO1" Kishia could perhaps still make use of the character. Regardless, it wouldn't be surprising to see Super Saiyan Blue Gogeta have a solid presence at EVO 2020 next year.

That said, Gogeta wouldn't be the only new Dragon Ball FighterZ DLC character to join the prestigious fighting game tournament, as the Dragon Ball Super version of Broly is also set to join "soon." This version of Broly does not have a firm release date yet, but it's worth clarifying that this is not the same form for the Super Saiyan Broly who already appears in Dragon Ball FighterZ.

For DBZ fans, the upcoming addition of Gogeta and Dragon Ball Super's Broly are definitely something to be hyped for, but that's not all. Many are also looking forward to the detailed DBZ: Kakarot action RPG, so for those considering purchasing the game, here's how to prepare for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot.

Dragon Ball FighterZ is available right now on PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
