Super Saiyan Blue Gogeta has been available in Dragon Ball FighterZ for about a month now, with fans looking forward to the next addition to the roster, Dragon Ball Super's version of Broly. This will be the second version of Broly to appear in the game, with this one based on the aptly titled Dragon Ball Super: Broly movie. Those who are excited are now able to check out some new screens of the character, which even suggest a forthcoming release in Dragon Ball FighterZ.

Fittingly of the Dragon Ball universe, it seems Broly will be a slower powerhouse, with his Power stat ranking SS, his Reach stat ranking SS, his Energy stat ranking SS, his Technique stat ranking S, but his Speed stat ranking C. His style is described as "powerful single hits and long-reaching throws," with his abilities being dubbed Blaster Meteor and Gigantic Roar. The former releases a big blast of energy around him, and the latter transforms him into a Super Saiyan, seeing his rush forward delivery one fully powered punch that shatters his own armor and ends with a powerful Ki blast from his mouth.

These new scans give a look at this abilities, showcasing the devastating blow of his Blaster Meteor attack and show him in his Super Saiyan State as well as the from-the-mouth Ki Blast. What's more, these scans seemingly indicate that Broly's release in Dragon Ball FighterZ is expected in the "near days," meaning he'll likely drop sometime before the end of October.

It'll be interesting to see how he plays compared to the other Broly and even the other most recent addition, Super Saiyan Blue Gogeta, when eventually does release. He may prove to shake up the meta when it comes to Dragon Ball FighterZ, which would definitely play a role in the next big tournament.

Meanwhile, more news was also revealed about another big Dragon Ball Z game coming up, Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, namely two new playable characters. These include Adult Gohan and Vegito, who'll most likely make playing the Buu saga worthwhile.

Dragon Ball FighterZ is available right now on PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
