Not too long ago, Arc System Works and Bandai Namco Entertainment confirmed the addition of two staple Dragon Ball Z characters coming to the forthcoming fighting game Dragon Ball FighterZ by announcing the inclusion of Krillin and Piccolo. Now the companies have decided to give fans of the title a better look at them in action by releasing a slew of brand new gameplay screenshots featuring the two warriors.

As seen in the gallery below, Krillin and Piccolo certainly appear to have the moves and skill sets to hold their own in battle against some of the most deadly adversaries in Dragon Ball FighterZ, as they come face to face with the likes of Cell and Frieza. As it so happens, Piccolo has his iconic Special Beam Cannon as a special attack, and different abilities for breaking guards, as well as the capacity to stretch his arm and grab opponents from a distance, while Krillin has his formidable Destructo Disc Super Attack that is unblockable, as well as some moves that create illusions during combat.

Of course, as previously mentioned, Krillin and Piccolo are far from the only characters that will be available to do battle in Dragon Ball FighterZ. As it so happens, seven other figures have been confirmed for the roster so far, including Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Frieza, Cell, Majin Buu, and Future Trunks, with the lattermost character having been officially unveiled during EVO 2017 last weekend with a gameplay trailer.

Although the release date Dragon Ball FighterZ won't be until next year, fans looking forward to trying out Krillin, Piccolo, and the rest won't have to wait much longer, as Bandai Namco recently confirmed that players can register for the closed beta on July 26, with the test itself "coming soon." With any luck, Arc System Works will unveil a few more characters between now and then make the beta even more interesting when it goes live.

Dragon Ball FighterZ is set to launch sometime in early 2018 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
