Not long after Fused Zamasu was officially revealed for Dragon Ball FighterZ, many began to speculate who would join the fusion between Goku Black and Future Zamasu as the next DLC fighter. Moreover, speculation was rampant for when the fighters would join the 2.5D fighting game's roster, but now, there is no need for any speculation.

Vegito Blue was heavily teased as the fighter joining the game alongside Zamasu, with Bandai Namco US going as far as to use a series of digits that revealed Vegito's introduction into the anime as bait for its many fans. Interestingly enough, Bandai Namco US isn't the source that spilled the beans on the duo's addition, but the Bandai Namco UK Twitter account.

Bandai Namco US posted a tweet, depicted below, asking its fans which character they would swap out of their lineup to add Vegito Blue, erasing any doubt that he would be joining the roster with Fused Zamasu. This prompted questions of the release date for the fighters, and Bandai Namco UK weighed in, revealing the release date for the next Dragon Ball FighterZ DLC as May 31. Check out the tweets below:

In both tweets, gamers get a glimpse of Vegito's Final Kamehameha, his signature combination move born of Goku and Vegeta. With the pair being available for individual purchase or through the FighterZ pass, those who believed the fighters would release before the end of May and have prepared accordingly may be able to get their hands on these fighters sooner rather than later.

After Broly and Bardock, these fighters are the second set of accurately leaked fighters. According to the same, and thus far accurate, datamine by SergioM3, players may expect Cooler and Ranger Android 17 to join Dragon Ball FighterZ after Vegito Blue and Fused Zamasu. Although their release remains questionable until confirmation, many may expect the last two fighters to join before EVO 2018 in order to shake up the metagame before going into the tournament where Dragon Ball FighterZ was the most popular game.

Dragon Ball FighterZ is available for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
