Ever since Dragon Ball FighterZ's gameplay footage debut at E3 2017, fans of the popular anime franchise have been scouring the Internet for as much information as possible about the forthcoming fighting game. Now, the publisher Bandai Namco and developer Arc System Works have released a new, albeit short character intro trailer for what is arguably the series' most memorable and iconic villain, Frieza, with the clip featuring a handful of the antagonist's moves and abilities.

As seen below in the latest Dragon Ball FighterZ trailer, Frieza is shown in his Final Form and in his Golden iteration unleashing several projectile blasts on Super Saiyan Goku and Super Saiyan Trunks. In addition to the character's long-range abilities, he's also shown dishing out powerful special attacks on his enemies, with one causing a whirlwind of destruction on the planet that can be seen from outer space.

For those unaware, Frieza was confirmed as a playable member of Dragon Ball FighterZ's roster at the outset of the fighting game's announcement, as he was shown doing battle among the ranks of other franchise villains such as Cell and Majin Buu. According to the current character rankings, Frieza is one of the most proficient and deadly warriors in the title so far, but he requires a bit of practice to use, as the antagonist is listed as being one of the most difficult fighters to play as.

Even so, it's safe to presume that there are plenty of fans who signed up for Dragon Ball FighterZ's closed beta that will pick Frieza as their starting character at the beginning of the trial, as he has the potential to utterly decimate his opponents. That said, though, it will be interesting to see what tweaks, changes, and additions are made to Frieza and the rest of the roster following this weekend's beta.

Dragon Ball FighterZ is set to launch sometime in February 2018 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
