Without a doubt, over two million copies sold is an impressive number for Dragon Ball FighterZ to reach in just a matter of days after going live. And with game releasing in Asia and Japan today following its North American, European, and Southeast Asian launch, it stands to reason that the title's sales are likely to see a huge spike, especially when one considers the sheer popularity and global recognition of the franchise as a whole.

Taking all of this into consideration, with Dragon Ball FighterZ's debut being a major hit with fans and critics alike, it's quite possible that the fighting game could go on to become one of the best-selling titles of 2018. In addition to the base game, Arc System Works and Bandai Namco plan to sporadically release add-ons for the the title, too, which should also prove to be a boon for sales, especially if the content includes DLC characters that fans want.
