Not too long ago, V-Jump magazine in Japan revealed the first two DLC characters coming to Arc System Works and Bandai Namco Entertainment's fighting game, Dragon Ball FighterZ, by confirming that Broly and Bardock would be added to the title. Now, the developer and publisher have decided to give fans a closer look at the two new roster members by providing a handful of fresh screenshots for them both, as well as a couple of short intro trailers.

As seen below in the trailers and gallery of images for Dragon Ball FighterZ's forthcoming DLC characters, both Bardock and Broly appear to be quite the formidable combatants, with the former taking on Frieza in one still, and the latter completely obliterating an unknown opponent with a mighty wallop in another image. What's more is that Arc System Works and Bandai Namco shared the direct-feed artwork for the characters so that players can see how their models will look in-game.

About a month ago, a datamine of the PC version of Dragon Ball FighterZ pointed to possible DLC characters coming to the fighting game, with Broly and Bardock being the first two add-on fighters mentioned. Should the rest of the information in the datamine be correct, then it looks as if the likes of Zamasu, Vegito, Cooler, and Ranger Android 17 could also be coming to Dragon Ball FighterZ at some point down the line.

Naturally, not every character from the Dragon Ball franchise can be incorporated into Arc System Works and Bandai Namco's FighterZ, as the universe's cast list is sprawling to say the least. That said, though, should one be playing the title on PC, there's always the potential for modders to incorporate unofficial figures into the roster to make up for the lack of a more rounded selection. For instance, while he's not even remotely related to the anime, a modder added Patrick Star from SpongeBob SquarePants, proving that practically any character can be added if one uses their imagination.

Dragon Ball FighterZ is available now for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
