The world and the gaming industry as a result are in a strange place right now. Hot on the heels of the Last of Us 2 delay, many are likely wondering how games slated for the summer and early fall will deal with the on-going Coronavirus, with many expecting something similar to happen to titles like Cyberpunk 2077. However, the world itself will not come to a stand still, a fact evident by a post from Dragon Age 4 executive producer Mark Darrah.

In a simple post on Twitter, he shared a GIF of a glass bulb shattering. There appears to be some sort of luminescence within, but given that there's no comments, the entire post is without context. That hasn't stopped nearly every comment from referencing Dragon Age 4 in some way, however.

This response speaks to the popularity of the franchise and how many are clamoring for something more; however, Dragon Age 4's release date is far off, so it seems unlikely. That said, Darrah has been known to seriously tease the game before, such as just posting "Dragon Age 4" and "sceenshots," meaning that this response and demand isn't entirely unsolicited.

On the other hand, Mark Darrah replies to a comment on whether or not this is his sanity, confirming it in a likely tongue-in-cheek comment. Assuming that it indeed has nothing to do with Dragon Age 4, one thing becomes clear: now would be a good time to drop even the slightest bit of information. After all, there hasn't been anything of substance since The Game Awards 2018.

Dragon Age 4 is in development.
