Dr Disrespect and NICKMERCS are two of the biggest names in Call of Duty streaming at the moment, so fans may find that the growing rivalry between them makes a lot of sense. However, this rivalry isn't rooted in their video game careers or even skills--instead, the two streamers seem to be heckling each other about their personal fitness.

The conflict appears to have begun when NICKMERCS began uploading workout streams as well as gaming ones, but it really went into high gear when he posted a picture of himself flexing at the gym on Twitter. The image is designed to draw the viewer's eye to the streamer's muscular legs and is accompanied by a caption declaring that one should never skip leg day, with Dr Disrespect--creator of the 'Gamerobics' music video--directly tagged.

Dr Disrespect fired back immediately, posting a response tweet on the same day stating that NICKMERCS wouldn't be able to keep up with him in any activity connected to athletic movement. He then decided to roast NICKMERCS' picture by accusing the other streamer of having kankles. Dr Disrespect has called Apex Legends boring and is generally well known for his sharp tongue during streams, so this exercise in roasting appears to be quite in character for him.

Though this exchange seems to be quite biting, as of writing neither streamer appears to have followed up on the feud. NICKMERCS let the light-hearted beef fall to the wayside in favor of telling his fans they could catch him at the pool, while Dr Disrespect went back to gaming without missing a beat. It may interest fans to know that Dr Disrespect has been spotted at NBA games, is 6 foot 8, and has quite a history with sports, so NICKMERCS' comments are unlikely to be rooted in reality.

The two streamers' fanbases don't appear to be particularly upset, either, though they have been following up on the beef and playfully roasting both men. Some users grabbed screenshots of Dr Disrespect wearing shorts to accuse him of skipping leg day, while others accused NICKMERCS of either misrepresenting his own fitness in the photo or being several feet shorter than Dr Disrespect. At least one immediately photoshopped the head of Sesame Street's Big Bird over NICKMERCS' face. However, one unexpected movement in the replies comes from users requesting the two streamers settle their differences and form a brotherhood with other streamers so that they stream with Dr Disrespect again instead of letting Twitch make the rules. Since Twitch kicked one streamer for cosplaying as Dr Disrepect, this seems unlikely to change things.
