Back in June, Dr Disrespect was suddenly banned from Twitch, with reports indicating that his ban would be permanent. And while there have been plenty of rumors about the reason for Dr Disrespect's ban, nothing official has been revealed to date. Dr Disrespect himself has kept mostly quiet about the situation, but has insisted that he does not know why Twitch banned him. It's been about two months since Dr Disrespect disappeared from live streaming, but it looks like he will finally be making his return today.

Dr Disrespect hosted an Instagram Live video that says he could return to streaming "as soon as today." The video doesn't reveal where Dr Disrespect may be streaming, unfortunately, but it seems that the most likely possibility will be YouTube. Dr Disrespect's YouTube channel has been updated to include custom emotes and a "join" option, suggesting that Dr Disrespect's streaming return may very well take place on the Google-owned platform.

If Dr Disrespect does return to game streaming today, here's hoping that he has some answers to fans' burning questions. Again, nothing official has been announced in regards to why Twitch permanently banned Dr Disrespect, one of its top stars, but reliable sources have suggested that it's due for "legal" reasons. Regardless, fans want to know why Dr Disrespect was kicked off Twitch, and they will also want to know if YouTube is going to be his permanent streaming home moving forward.

If Dr Disrespect has moved to YouTube, it will be interesting to see if he has signed an exclusivity deal with the platform. Previously, YouTube has signed PewDiePie to a streaming exclusivity deal, and it would make sense for the company to pursue other big names like Dr Disrespect, depending on the context of his Twitch ban, of course.

Besides potentially getting answers about his Twitch ban, Dr Disrespect fans may also be interested in seeing what game the Doc streams to mark the occasion. Dr Disrespect is best known for playing battle royale games, like Call of Duty: Warzone, and so Warzone Season 5 seems like a distinct possibility.

Other top Twitch streamers have experimented with YouTube Gaming as well, with one of the most notable being Ninja. Following the closure of Mixer, Ninja made his streaming return on YouTube, pulling in some of the platform's biggest numbers to date. However, Ninja recently returned to Twitch as well, making it unclear which platform he will stick with moving forward.
