When it comes to battle royale games, the likes of Apex Legends sits right up there among the most popular, second perhaps only to Fortnite, though arguably the former tries to distance itself from the competition. With the rewards for Apex Legends season ten having been leaked recently, there is some hype around the next iteration of the BR title, especially with the next season due out tomorrow. However, some people are not happy with the overall game, and have seemingly had no issue voicing such concerns.

YouTube streamer Dr Disrespect has had some criticism about Apex Legends in the past, with the latest one being captured and posted on Twitter. During a stream, the controversial content creator didn't stand on ceremony when, in the heat of the moment, he let loose about how it was "boring" and how much he "hated" the game. He specifically seemed to take umbrage with the fact that enemies seemed to not be defeated easily, saying that a "full spray" of ammo was not enough to take someone down.

It may not surprise a lot of people, but this isn't the first time the mustachio'd streamer has had complaints about the game. In the beginning of July, Dr Disrespect once again referred to how bored he was with Apex Legends, adding that the game was just "shooting shields." In this latest outburst, he also criticized the weapon's time-to-kill, or TTK, mentioning the fact that there was no insta-kill, unlike in other battle royale games like Call of Duty: Warzone.

Speaking of Warzone, Dr Disrespect has also had his fair share of grief with the CoD title, being very vocal about his concerns. Recently, he criticized the developer, accusing it of not knowing what it was doing before finally uninstalling Warzone for a second time towards the end of last month. He did a similar thing back in March, blaming the game's lackluster update and issues with the lengthy zipline animation for his seemingly unwarranted deaths.

Controversy often follows in the streamer's wake. Last year, Dr Disrespect was banned from Twitch permanently, though he claims he doesn't know the reason why. While there doesn't seem to be any satisfactory answer as to why he was kicked off the platform, there were a number of theories. One suggested that, with the closure of Mixer, Twitch wanted to bring in new streamers whose combined contracts would be equal to that of Disrespect's. However, it's important to say that these are speculations only.

Apex Legends season ten is out on August 3.
