Dr Disrespect has made a name for himself dishing out hot takes on topics in the gaming world, or making exaggerated statements about his abilities. It's all part of the character. One has to wonder if the Doc says things to get a rise out of his audience, like his opinion that the Warzone map update is unimpressive, or if he truly means what he says. On a recent stream, Dr Disrespect pondered whether he should invest in a full-motion gaming system, commenting on a couple of options that would be available to him.

Full-motion gaming systems usually find the most value in games where the player is piloting a vehicle of some kind. Racing games and flight sims are where a full-motion rig would see the most usage. Professional race car drivers use simulators to get a feel for tracks they will be racing on, without actually going to the track to test it out. Even just for fun, a game like Gran Turismo 7 could be even more immersive if the player used a full-motion setup. These full motion systems are also used to train pilots, astronauts, and others who need to experience the physical stresses these jobs place on them.

Dr Disrespect is looking for something that can provide a wide range of motion, and give the player the sensation of actually hitting bumps and feeling the G-forces of going around a corner in a race car. He claims he would be willing to spend upwards of $250,000 on the system, but in Doc parlance one usually drops a zero or two off of the number he quotes, so $25,000 might be the high end of his budget for the project. Perhaps the money earned from sales of Dr Disrespect's first book could be used to fund the acquisition of a full-motion gaming system.

While a number of the options Doc looks at are fairly standard simulators, with a single-seat cockpit design and monitors on all sides, Doc really gets excited at the full-motion designs that really pitch players to and fro. The Doc even wonders what it would be like to have TimTheTatman act as his crew chief for his future career as a pro racer, assuming Dr Disrespect and TimTheTatman can even game together, given Doc's ban from Twitch.

As with anything Dr Disrespect says, fans have to wonder if he really would go all in for a full-motion gaming system. It might prove difficult to stream with the same intensity that Dr Disrespect usually does if he was strapped into a simulator, but if anyone would try to make something like this work, it might just be Dr Disrespect.
