Dr Disrespect is known for his hot takes due in part to the high expectations of the YouTube content creator's character, but also the very real frustrations of the man behind the mustache. Sometimes, it's difficult to tell where the Dr Disrespect character starts and ends, but that only adds to the drama of his streams. Dr Disrespect's latest hot take relates to his recent forays into Fortnite's LTM-turned-permanent game mode No Build. While the Doc has been impressed with No Build, he does still have one major criticism. In a message on Twitter, Dr Disrespect decided to share some of his feelings regarding No Build mode in Fortnite. To start, he explains that he feels like No Build mod was "built for me." Elaborating, he leans into his memes and mentions that No Build mode is "super athletic," "high mobility," "slide 360 snuper shots," and, "shotty in your face etc etc." Suffice to say, it's everything that Dr Disrespect demands in a game that he plays.RELATED: Fortnite Adds Zero Build Mode, New Weapon, and More in Latest UpdateThere is one significant flaw with No Built mode, however, which goes against everything Dr Disrespect stands for. He describes this flaw as "aim assist controller junky kids" being intermixed into his games. Dr Disrespect doesn't appreciate going against players who are given an unearned advantage over him, and he wants everyone to know about it.

To return to the initial point, it's rather unclear how much Dr Disrespect is leaning into his character with this Twitter post as opposed to sharing his genuine frustrations. On one hand, dying to a flailing controller player that's otherwise outmatched is certainly frustrating. On the other hand, Dr Disrespect likely understands how dramatic of an advantage keyboard and mouse players have over controller players with or without aim assist. Sometimes it's difficult to remember that after a tough loss in a competitive Fortnite match, though.

Aim assist in Fortnite has frequently been described as the current most controversial feature in the battle royale. Any controller player has access to it, regardless of whether they're on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, or even PC. Players can even customize their aim assist, turning it all the way off if they so choose. It's on by default, though, so fans should not expect Epic Games to change it anytime soon. The developer seems perfectly content with the balance that aim assist has created.

In the meantime, Dr Disrespect will likely continue to play No Build Mode in Fortnite going forward. Compared to Dr Disrespect's criticism of Call of Duty: Warzone, aim assist in Fortnite is no big issue whatsoever. It's always possible Dr Disrespect will have a series of bad games and decide to stop playing Fortnite, but for the time being he appears to be enjoying himself.

Fortnite is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and mobile devices.
