Dr Disrespect's relationship with Twitch is strenuous, to say the least. It's been over a year since he was banned from the platform, and while he has come back strong by streaming on YouTube, there's a lot of questions left up in the air about his ban. After all, Twitch has been very strict about it even to this day.

At one point, it was believed that Twitch wouldn't allow streamers to play with Dr Disrespect—even offline. And as wild as that may seem, the very fact that it is believable adds to the whole controversy. The last word from the Doc indicates that he didn't know why he was banned, and so anything goes. However, it seems even his likeness isn't allowed on Twitch, as one competitive player got the boot for just loosely cosplaying him.

ZLaner is one of the fastest growing Warzone streamers right now, earning an impressive amount of kills on average in each game. He's also collaborated with the Doc on more than one occasion, as he is affiliated with Twitch but also streams on YouTube. He was set to take part in a $75,000 Warzone Twitch Rivals event, until the day of. As first mentioned by eSports reporter Jake Lucky, it seems to be because ZLaner intended to play in a crude cosplay of Dr Disrespect.

ZLaner was going to run the tournament with FaZe Clan's Kalei and Twitch streamer ClutchBelk, but the short notice prevented that from happening. If there was some discussion as to how ZLaner could participate, that has not been revealed, and it may be that Twitch didn't elaborate or go further than the message: "ZLaner is not eligible for Twitch Rivals today." As seen below, the cosplay is obviously mimicking the Doc, but at the end of the day, it's also just a wig, giant glasses, and a moustache. Notably, *IF* Dr Disrespect is pursuing legal action against Twitch, it may be because the site cannot allow his likeness in its material. Of course, for now, that's just speculation, and it doesn't make it right to take Dr Disrespect's Twitch ban out on a friend of his.

As aforementioned, it's been over a year since the story of Dr Disrespect's Twitch ban began, and it doesn't seem anywhere close to ending. Many are eagerly awaiting the day the truth comes out, as many theories to his Twitch ban have spread around the internet, but very few—if any—have any inkling of truth to them.
