Popular YouTube streamer Dr Disrespect is known to be extremely outspoken about video game titles. Lately, Dr Disrespect has shared his frustrations with Call of Duty: Warzone, his most-streamed game, but after learning about Battlefield 2042, Dr Disrespect has been excitedly waiting for more information about the title. The streamer finally got his wish but had a different reaction than expected.

DICE revealed an intense action-packed gameplay trailer for Battlefield 2042 during the Microsoft E3 presentation, which showed off some new gadgets, dynamic weather effects, and unique vehicles. The trailer was applauded by many, but Dr Disrespect seems to have a few problems with specific aspects of Battlefield 2042.

When first watching the trailer, Dr Disrespect pauses the video early on to say, "So this [clip] is on Xbox, I assume? I think what I have to do is, when it comes to Battlefield 2042, is lower my expectations and, hopefully, that means they exceed them."

While Dr Disrespect is known for his Call of Duty gameplay, the YouTube streamer has been outspoken about finding a new game after becoming frustrated with Warzone. Dr Disrespect has held onto high hopes for Battlefield 2042 ever since hearing about the rumored battle royale mode. Now that Dr Disrespect has gotten the first look at Battlefield 2042 gameplay, it's clear his expectations have not been exceeded.

Dr Disrespect continues his complaints about the trailer, saying, "I gotta be honest, I have seen better graphics on an Xbox 360, man." The streamer then questions if the video is in 4K before confirming that it is. Dr Disrespect looked visibly disappointed after watching a section of the Battlefield 2042 trailer revealing gadgets and a large dust storm. While this part of the trailer revealed exciting new features coming to the title, Dr Disrespect had no comment during the segment.

Dr Disrespect concluded his review of the trailer with an open mind, saying, "Look, I think this is a game where you just kind of have to wait," he adds, "We just want to wait, and then you can see how it looks, how combat feels, the vehicles, map design, and flow of the game."

The Two-Time also adds that the Battlefield 2042 trailer featured a ton of vehicles, which is usually typical for the Battlefield franchise. Dr Disrespect says that he does not want to fly a jet, but is looking forward to flying down to the ground with a wingsuit, doing some long-range sniping, and controlling a point.

Another streamer's comments may be a good sign for Dr Disrespect's view of Battlefield 2042. During the E3 Battlefield 2042 reveal, former CS:GO pro Shroud co-streamed the Battlefield 2042 trailer and let his fans know a little more information about the title. Shroud claims that there is much more about the game to be revealed, and says that EA will share more during the Summer EA Play event. Shroud seems to have more information on the title that he is not allowed to share, but hopefully, more information about Battlefield 2042 will come soon.

Battlefield 2042 releases on October 22 for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
