It's been a while since Guy Beahm, better known as Dr. Disrespect, was banned from Twitch, but the reason behind the ban is still unknown. In Dr Disrespect's highly popular first YouTube stream, he reiterated that he doesn't know why he was banned either.

Over 500,000 viewers tuned in to watch Doc's first major foray into YouTube, and one of the first things they heard from him was "We still have no idea," referring to the infamous ban. Earlier, when the streamer announced his return to YouTube, Dr. Disrespect says he violated Twitch's terms of service but remained otherwise cryptic on the matter.

Ever since the ban, the Internet has been filled with rumors about why Dr. Disrespect left Twitch, including speculations of criminal activity and conspiracy theories about other streaming services poaching Doc. Plenty of people theorize that the former Twitch streamer does know why he was banned, but Doc repeated that mysterious phrase "We still have no idea" multiple times on his first YouTube stream. He has also gone on record to say "We didn't do anything to warrant a ban" and claims that Twitch didn't communicate with him or reach out before removing him from the website.

Not long before the ban, Dr. Disrespect renewed his exclusivity deal with Twitch and while the numbers weren't publicized, it's speculated that Twitch paid Doc a lot of money due to the streamer's immense popularity. Doc referenced this in his YouTube stream by calling the agreement "a heavy contract" with a lot of money involved. He added that he's being deliberately cautious when he talks about the ban because he wants to let the "legal professionals do what they need to do."

The YouTube stream didn't just prove Doc's popularity even after the ban, it got him a good amount of donations as well. He claimed that he wouldn't be talking about the ban any more and insulted the people who claimed he must have done something really bad to get a permaban. Many fans did notice that Doc's last Twitch stream ended suddenly, right after he checked his phone and started fidgeting and appeared upset in response to whatever it is he read.

Some believe this behavior hints at Doc actually knowing about the ban or reasons behind it ahead of time, but the streamer stated on the YouTube stream that he has a clean conscience in regards to the situation. Regardless of whether Dr. Disrespect is telling the truth or not about knowing the reason, Twitch's lack of transparency about Doc's ban is concerning to many people.
