The ancient and immortal Doom Slayer returns this this November in the newest entry in the long running franchise with DOOM Eternal. As a direct sequel to the popular 2016 title, the demonic forces have overrun Earth and left much of it in ruin. As the Doom Slayer, players return to Earth to take it back by force.

While the gameplay retains the fast paced and aggressive run and gun style that made the 2016 release a hit for Bethesda and id Software, the studio has added in a few new mechanics to help make the experience feel fresh. In addition to double the amount of enemies like the new Doom Hunter or returning Arachnotron, players will also get access to the Meat Hook, a grappling hook attachment that can be used for inventive demon kills or environmental traversal.
