Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness still has a lot of mystery surrounding it, but fans expect it to tie into the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home. Now, new promotional art for Doctor Strange 2 has surfaced online, offering fans a new look at Elizabeth Olsen's Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch, America Chavez/Miss America, and fan-favorite Wong

The fact that these characters are appearing in the Doctor Strange sequel is very compelling because they are all very powerful heroes. Of course, this likely means the Doctor Strange 2 villain is someone powerful enough to warrant all of these heroes uniting.

The new Doctor Strange 2 artwork is featured on the packaging for a LEGO set tied to the upcoming film, and it indicates all four heroes will play a huge role in a battle against the main villain. When it was first announced that Scarlet Witch would be in Doctor Strange 2, many fans assumed she would be an antagonist. Now it's becoming more clear that she's one of the characters who will be an ally to Doctor Strange and company as they deal with the apparent troubles of the multiverse. The artwork also provided a glimpse at newcomer America Chavez/Miss America, though her costume is not entirely visible.

In the comics, America Chavez has the abilities of superhuman strength, superhuman speed, superhuman durability, flight, invulnerability, star portal creation, star blast, inter-dimensional travel, and time travel. The last few powers are what may contribute to the plot of Doctor Strange 2, which may have the characters travel through different dimensions and universes. Rumored plot details suggest America Chavez will be chased throughout the multiverse by the main villain, prompting Doctor Strange and Scarlet Witch to team up to protect her.

If anything about Spider-Man: No Wat Home ends up being true, then it must mean that there are other worlds that Marvel Studios will explore. This opens up a lot of opportunities for Marvel Studios to bring in the X-Men and older characters from past Marvel films that were produced before the MCU existed.

At the end of WandaVision, Wanda appeared to be searching for her lost twins in alternate dimensions. Fans soon wondered if America Chavez could open another dimension, allowing Wanda to find her children. Of course, fans will only know for sure when Doctor Strange 2 hits theaters.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will be in theaters on May 6, 2022.
