Throughout the course of The Division 2, players will interact with a number of NPCs, but by far one of the most important is the quartermaster, Coop Dennison. The quartermaster in The Division 2 is integral to success in The Division 2 for a wide range of reasons, and so it's paramount that players know exactly where to find him in the game.

One of the earliest missions in The Division 2 actually has players visit the quartermaster. However, after players leave their Base of Operations at the White House and begin exploring the world, they may forget where to find him. The quartermaster can be found on the bottom floor of the White House, right inside the entrance.

As previously mentioned, the quartermaster is very important to one's success in The Division 2, as he offers services that are necessary for players to do well in the game. For example, when players unlock skill points by completing specific main story missions, they will need to visit the quartermaster to purchase the new skills. The quartermaster is also who players need to speak to when unlocking new perks, which also play a major role in just how well players will do in the game.

There are certain perks that are absolute must-haves in The Division 2, like the one that allows players to carry two primary weapons and the one that gives players a second skill slot. It also doesn't hurt to increase the number of armor kits players can carry at any given time. These perks should be unlocked at the quartermaster right away, so players should be sure to visit the quartermaster regularly to do so.

Unlocking a second skill slot is especially important for solo players in The Division 2. Since solo players won't have any teammates to back them up, they need to acquire skills that make up for the lost functions that teammates would typically perform, like shooting at enemies and reviving the player. The best skills for solo players can perform these functions and should be unlocked in The Division 2 early on so solo players can have the least frustrating experience possible.

Of course, The Division 2 players will have to find the quartermaster to unlock those skills, and so a regular visit to the bottom floor of the White House Base of Operations should be a regular part of any player's routine.

The Division is out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
