In mid-April, The Division 2 Title Update 3, and its accompanying raid, were delayed, and the release date for this update was moved to a then unspecified date in May. Now, The Division 2 Title Update 3 release date has been clarified, and it is coming slightly sooner than some players may have expected.

Specifically, Ubisoft has just announced that The Division 2 servers will be taken down for maintenance tomorrow. This sever maintenance will begin at 3:30am EDT, lasting approximately three hours, and it will apply The Division 2 TU3. Thus, The Division 2 Update 3 release date is now confirmed for Tuesday, May 14.

While it has been known for a number of days that The Division 2 TU3 release date would come this week, some players anticipated that it would arrive on Thursday, alongside the game's standard weekly maintenance. As such, it is likely to come as a welcome surprise that fans will get access to The Division 2 Update 3.0 on May 14, a couple of days ahead of the predicted release date.

With respect to the contents of The Division 2 Title Update 3, players can expect numerous tweaks, including adjustments to things like talent requirements on gear as well as damage output and mitigation. Furthermore, players will have more opportunities to obtain The Division 2 500 Gear Score loot, though plans to increase the Gear Score cap to 515 have been put on hold for the time being.

Regarding The Division 2 Operation Dark Hours raid, the game's first eight-player content that was delayed alongside Title Update 3, the current indication is that it will not launch at the same time as the forthcoming patch. Indeed, it has been stated that The Division 2 raid release date will come shortly after Update 3.0, and a more specific day of release is likely to be confirmed soon.

Ubisoft has further stated that The Division 2 Title Update 3 patch notes will be made available tomorrow as well. These patch notes should offer players that did not participate in the Public Test Server testing a comprehensive understanding of all of the changes that have been made with TU3, giving them time to to adequately prepare for the, presumably imminent, Division 2 raid release date.

The Division 2 is available now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
