During its E3 2019 press conference, Ubisoft showed off a cinematic teaser trailer for Season 3 of The Division 2, the final DLC content for the game's first year. And while the game has been set in Washington, D.C. since its launch, it looks like this final season of the game's first year will take players back to New York City, the location of the first game in the series.

The first clue for those watching that this Division 2 content is not located in Washington, D.C. is the fact that the trailer takes place on a beach and the United States' capital does not have any beaches within it. But then, the reveal comes at the end of the trailer that it is taking place on Coney Island, and then once again the camera zooms out again to reveal the Statue of Liberty and Manhattan.

Details are light about Episode 3 right now, but Ubisoft also revealed more about the other Year 1 episodic content during its press conference. Episodes 1 and 2 will obviously be out before Episode 3, and those will keep players in Washington, D.C., specifically focusing around the National Zoo and the Pentagon. Ubisoft also announced that the game's second raid will be coming to the game as part of Episode 2, with many theorizing that it could even take place within the Pentagon itself.

But Episode 3 will be focused around a manhunt that sends players back to New York City. Ubisoft teased it on stage this way:

"What if rebirth was not about bringing the world as we know it back to life? One man holds that power and humanity itself is at stake. Agents, it’s time to engage in a manhunt."

Despite everything players did in the Big Apple in the first game, it looks like the fight is not over there yet. While it was not outright stated, the "one man" players are likely hunting down in New York is former Division agent and the first game's big baddie, Aaron Keener. But fans will have to wait until early 2020 to know for sure.

All of Year 1's episodic content will be free for anyone who purchased the game.

The Division 2 is available now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Episode 3 is scheduled to release in early 2020.
