As Massive Entertainment prepares to release the Warlords of New York expansion in The Division 2 on March 3, players will have the opportunity to bide their time before going to the Big Apple by first returning to Kenly College.

A rerun of the event which ran last summer in The Division 2 was announced via Twitter today, and will become active again on February 25, 2020. For those who missed it the first time, Kenly College is an abandoned school on the outskirts of Washington D.C. with a more open-ended design that includes three investigation areas for players to move between and explore.

The reward for completing all three investigation areas is the same as it was when the limited time event ran last July: A Diamondback Exotic Variant of the 1886 Rifle with talents that provide armor bonuses, guaranteed critical hits on marked enemies, and overall better combat proficiency as a result of hitting those marked targets. Kenly College was one of the first major events dropped after The Division 2 released as the best-selling game in March 2019, even if Ubisoft has since confirmed that it under-performed alongside Ghost Recon Breakpoint.

Despite that performance, Massive Entertainment and Ubisoft still have plans to milk The Division 2 for everything it's got coming into the game's first anniversary. Alongside the Warlords of New York expansion, a season pass akin to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare was announced for the game earlier this month.

Yet The Division 2 is not the only thing on Massive Entertainment's plate right now. The studio has also recently confirmed that it is still working on a game based around James Cameron's Avatar universe, with the first sequel to his 2009 blockbuster film set to be released in December 2021.

That said, the looter shooter based on the works of author Tom Clancy is still clearly a huge priority, as the game is and will continue to be receiving lots of content in the near future. On top of the Warlords of New York expansion and the Kenly College rerun, The Division 2 also just received new weapons and missions based in Coney Island, so there's no shortage of things to keep ongoing players occupied.

The Division 2 is available now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
