In The Division 2, players can upgrade their agents in a variety of ways. The most obvious is leveling up, but they can also equip better weaponry and gear, as well as unlock SpecializationsThe Division 2 agents can also be improved by unlocking the game's eight different skills, with players able to obtain all of them by playing through the game.

Skills are purchased at the Quartermaster, located at the White House Base of Operations. Skill points are unlocked by completing main story missions, with players able to check if a specific missions will yield a skill point by hovering their cursor over it on the world map. There is no way to speed up the process of unlocking skill points; players just have to play through the main story and eventually they will have enough skill points to unlock all eight skills in the game.

Even though there are eight skills The Division 2 players can unlock, they can only have two equipped at any given time. These skills are equipped through the same screen that players use to switch weapons and gear. Considering this, The Division 2 players may want to prioritize unlocking certain skills first.

When it comes to picking skills in The Division 2, players need to consider which skills will work best together. One combo that we've found helpful is the Chem Launcher and the Turret. If a particularly powerful enemy is rushing the player, they can stop them in their tracks with the Chem Launcher's riot foam, and then deploy the Turret to focus fire on them. Alternatively, the Chem Launcher's riot foam can also be used in tandem with the Seeker Mine very effectively.

Ultimately, The Division 2 players will just have to experiment with the different skills to figure out which combination works best for them. When playing in a squad, it's a good idea to have a good mix of different abilities to help tackle various situations, especially when it comes to the eight-player raids.

The Division 2 is out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
