There are a lot of characters in Disney Dreamlight Valley, some are found in the village upon starting the game like Mickey Mouse, Goofy, and Merlin. Whereas characters like Moana, WALL-E, and Remy need a bit of work to be brought back from their realm to the valley.
The moment players open the Dream Castle in Disney Dreamlight Valley, Merlin will ask which realm they would like to visit; the realm of the shy robot, the Demigod, or the little chef. Each realm has its own advantages and disadvantages.
Should You Visit The Shy Robot In Disney Dreamlight Valley
Visiting the realm of the shy robot will give players the chance to meet WALL-E. The only disadvantage is that opening the door will cost players some Dreamlight. The advantages on the other hand are:
- A New Friend
- A Garden
Completing WALL-E’s quest will make the robot available as a friend in the valley. Meaning new friendship rewards will become accessible when players spend time with him.
Once the robot is comfortable in his own home, a new quest will be triggered, Village Project: The Garden. Completing it unlocks a small gardening corner that belongs to WALL-E. Saviors will have the opportunity to harvest crops from it regularly. Building the garden, however, requires some materials in Disney Dreamlight Valley:
- Sugarcane Seeds x5
- Wheat Seeds x5
- Trellis x1
- Burlap Bags x3
Gardening is an important asset in the game, as it provides ingredients for recipes and can sometimes be eaten to regenerate Energy.
Should You Visit The Little Chef In Disney Dreamlight Valley
As players set foot into Remy’s kitchen, they’ll get to experience cooking with the little chef himself, and help him serve dishes to food critics. A couple of advantages can be gained while working alongside the Rat on this busy night:
- New Ingredients
- New Recipes
- Purchasing Uncommon Ingredients at the Restaurant
The first advantage players will get is that all kinds of ingredients are available in the kitchen, like Zucchini that’s usually found in late-game areas. Players have this amazing opportunity to create some Disney Dreamlight Valley recipes for later when all ingredients all available.
Another advantage is that all-prepared recipes are added to players’ recipes list. One of the dishes is the famous Ratatouille, a 5-Star meal. Sadly, all meals prepared inside the realm cannot be brought to the village. So, Saviors can make use of Remy’s kitchen, and cook a decent meal that replenishes a lot of energy.
Next, the Rat asks for help in restoring Chez Remy. First, players need to save 2000 Star Coins and buy the Restaurant Furniture Kit from Scrooge. Second, a couple of Disney Dreamlight Valley materials must be collected for the grand opening:
- Oregano x10
- Raspberry x15
- Carrot x15
- Wheat x25
After acquiring all necessary items, return to Remy to open the restaurant. Cheese, Eggs, Milk, Butter, and Peanuts will become available for purchase. Do note that the last ingredient requires completing a Friendship Quest.
Should You Visit The Demigod In Disney Dreamlight Valley
The realm of the Demigod doesn’t only have Maui, Demigod of the wind and sea himself, but also Moana. Like any other realm, it will cost Dreamlight to unlock it. As for the advantages:
- Two New Friends
- Pickaxe +1
- Fishing Boat
The moment players convince Moana to move back to the valley, Maui will feel upset. It will take a bit of persuasion with a few Disney Dreamlight Valley recipes to convince the Demigod to follow her. As a result, two new characters will become available instead of one.
Before Maui’s return to the valley, two of his quests need to be done, one of them is The Great Maui. The Demigod will proceed to ask questions about himself, and the Saviors need to answer correctly. Maui rewards them by upgrading the Pickaxe in Disney Dreamlight Valley, making it possible to destroy the round blue rocks.
The next advantage is similar to WALL-E’s Garden. By bringing the correct materials to Moana, she will fix a broken boat and use it to go fishing. This allows players to collect fish every 20 min. Upgrading the boat will increase its capacity and efficiency. The required materials are:
- Softwood x50
- Fiber x70
- Pink Hydrangea x3
