The Walt Disney company is no stranger when it comes to making video games based on its animated properties, the latest being Disney Dreamlight Valley, which will be receiving the popular villain Scar in a new update. Disney Dreamlight Valley has many Disney characters from heroes to villains from many of the various films that players can already interact with in the game and one more is on the way.

Recently, Disney Dreamlight Valley posted a thread about the status update on fixes for the game. The thread contained a short list of the various fixes that are being addressed and worked on for the game. The thread also revealed that the villain Scar from the Disney film The Lion King will be added as part of the first content update.

Scar will be added to the game this fall, but the post states that there is no exact date for the update's release at the time of writing. However, it does share that the developers are aiming for a target release in the next three weeks. The thread also adds that the new update will be adding Scar and continuing the main story in Disney Dreamlight Valley, so players will have that to look forward to.

As previously mentioned, the introduction of Scar to the game is not the only new addition to Disney Dreamlight Valley in the upcoming content update. The Twitter thread states that the update will be tackling several key issues in the game, such as patch timing, priority issues, and incoming fixes. According to the post, the new bug fixes for patch timing will also be released as part of the upcoming content update with Scar this fall.

When it comes to priority issues, the thread reveals that the development team is working on Disney Dreamlight Valley bug fixes for several high priority issues. The specific issues listed include preventing progress loss, missing Founder's Pack rewards in the game, and console crashes. Players can expect updates on these fixes in the upcoming weeks, though it doesn't specify how many.

For incoming fixes, the post reveals there will be over forty fixes being added to the game. Some issues being fixed for the game include but are not limited to, PS4 optimizations, Lightning VFX, being unable to collect a light bulb for a quest, and items being stuck in a store's counter for another quest. Also, Switch audio distortion, rain not waterering crops, and more will be attended to. There will also be an improved Photo Mode and new avatar poses added to the game. While players are waiting for the update, the post thanks players for their patience and support for the title.
