Disney Dreamlight Valley was released in early access earlier this fall, and although the game remains incomplete, dedicated fans are exploring the many worlds of the game to create homes in areas themed around classic Disney films.
Reddit users CrazzyCattLady and SnooBunnies1679 recently shared their incredible settings for Merlin and Minnie Mouse respectively in Disney Dreamlight Valley, with both using plants and flowers to bring the areas to life. Merlin and Minnie are two of many Disney characters represented in Disney Dreamlight Valley which players can complete tasks for, with others including Kristoff, Scrooge McDuck, Wall-E, and more. Because Disney Dreamlight Valley remains in early access, Gameloft may expand on the roster of characters or available furniture, plants, and more for players to experiment with as the game is updated in preparation for a full launch.
Merlin is the first character that Disney Dreamlight Valley players will encounter, and CrazzyCattLady's Merlin Valor Corner extends from the wizard's tower with a dirt path flanked by a row of trees and shrubs on either side. Inspired by the colors of Merlin's tower, the vegetation in the corner mixes plants that are shades of purple with others that are vibrantly green that lead the way to the important Disney Dreamlight Valley NPC. Illuminating the rustic path to Merlin's tower are several melted candles that appear like balls of light given how little wax is left of the candles in the Disney Dreamlight Valley building option.
Unlike CrazzyCattLady, SnooBunnies1679's area for Disney Dreamlight Valley's Minnie Mouse uses a Candelabra to light up the entrance to the Disney NPC's house, with a smaller light alongside the door behind a hanging plant. This Minnie area is located in the Valor biome and similar to CrazzyCattLady's Merlin corner, this custom location utilizes purple plants to match the color scheme of Minnie's house. According to SnooBunnies1679, the purple trees are unlocked in the Forgotten Lands, while Minnie Mouse is located through Disney Dreamlight Valley quests, and the pink flora is the Cherry Tree which is found earlier in the game.
While many fans have expressed their enthusiasm for both CrazzyCattLady and SnooBunnies1679's gorgeous areas for Merlin and Minnie, others have given their own Disney Dreamlight Valley tips for making impressive locations in the game. Multiple Reddit users have noted that the aforementioned creations inspire them to try the game for themselves, while some have stated that they struggle to mimic the same level of detail in their worlds.
