A Disney Dreamlight Valley player made a Mulan-inspired look for their avatar. With many characters not available in the game yet, players have been making use of the customization feature to create their own versions of the Disney mainstays, as well as change the layout of their village.

Disney Dreamlight Valley lets players explore different worlds where they can meet and befriend iconic Disney characters. They can also take on quests and acquire gifts they could use to decorate their spaces. The game is still in early access and is constantly being updated, but many players seem to be having fun with it so far. Plus, with the recent removal of Disney Dreamlight Valley's exhaustion effect, they now have more freedom and comfort to experience the open world.

The latest customization project that caught Disney Dreamlight Valley players' eye is an avatar that looks a lot like Mulan. Posted on Reddit by Jigenrqz_22, their avatar was sporting Mulan's casual dress, which they achieved by layering colors and shapes to a dress, and even shared the same physical features as the character.

Disney Dreamlight Valley fans praised the creation, and expressed that they wanted to recreate the Mulan dress as well. Many said that they wanted Mulan content and a world inspired by the character added in the game, with one noting that this would be perfect during a special Lunar New Year event. Aside from Mulan, there's also a call to add her lucky cricket Cri-Kee as a pet companion. Meanwhile, others are hoping that they could share in-game designs like in Animal Crossing.

Apart from removing exhaustion, Disney Dreamlight Valley could still make quality of life improvements. Some notable complaints include the low item drop rates, and the small dialog text in the Switch version. It seems that the next update should be a design-sharing feature that allows players to easily send their designs to others. Right now, players still need to do things from scratch, which includes experimenting with colors and shapes, and finding the right items, if they want to recreate an outfit or space. It can be an understandably time-consuming task.

But with so much content to go through in Disney Dreamlight Valley already, some players seem to be happy just experiencing the game's worlds. One thing's for sure: more characters will be coming, and it's possible that future expansions could potentially bring in Marvel and Star Wars characters too.

Disney Dreamlight Valley is available now in early access for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
