To celebrate the early access release of Disney Dreamlight Valley, Disney is giving away an Xbox Series S bundle. The game isn't actually required to enter the competition; there are ways for everyone to enter and have a chance to win.

How The Disney Dreamlight Valley Xbox Bundle Competition Works

the uk bundle and the us canada bundle

Disney is hosting two very similar competitions, one in the United Kingdom and another in the US and Canada (although the secondary prize for the US and Canada competition is available in other countries as well.)

You don't actually need to play or own Disney Dreamlight Valley to participate in the competition to win the Xbox bundle. It's also meant for players that don't have access to the game yet.

It can be a bit confusing at first, so it's important to be able to distinguish them and see which competition one should participate in; the two competitions vary in terms of prizes, ways to enter, and even deadlines. The table down below has all the main information regarding the two competitions:

How To Participate (US and Canada)

Disney wants Disney Dreamlight Valley fans to start getting in the mood for Halloween and start celebrating as soon as possible. They announced this bundle giveaway using the official Disney Dreamlight Valley account on Twitter:

In order to participate in the competition, gamers will have to dress up an avatar with a Halloween-inspired look and use at least one article of clothing design with the Touch of Magic tool. If they haven't started getting in the spooky mood yet, players will certainly have to change up their character's hair and outfit - it's all about looking the part here.

Those that don't have the game yet can participate using the "Disney Dreamlight Valley Avatar Design Tool," which is a free demonstration of the game available in the Epic Games Store. It gives players the opportunity to experiment with the tools that the game has to offer without having to risk purchasing the game before release.

Minors cannot enter the US and Canada competitions.

After creating the perfect Halloween avatar, it's time to send it as a submission. The picture has to be submitted through Gleam on the competition's official Disney Dreamlight Valley Gleam page. This is just one of the ways to participate, and it'll grant 100 entries. However, Gleam allows players to do a few more tasks and gain more entries. Here's how to get more entries:

  • Follow Disney Dreamlight Valley on Twitter
  • Follow Xbox on Twitter
  • Visit the official Disney Dreamlight Valley Facebook page
  • Visit the official Disney Dreamlight Valley Instagram page
  • Retweet the contest's promotional tweet

Each of these tasks is worth one additional entry, which means that in total, each participant can have a maximum of 105 entries. The five extra entries might not seem like much, but it might just make a difference in the end. At the top of the Gleam webpage, participants can track how many entries they have, how many entries have been submitted, and how many days are left until the competition ends.

The winner will be notified on November 1 on whichever platform they used to participate. Then they only have 48 hours to respond; otherwise, another winner will be chosen. In case of being chosen, Canada residents will have to answer a timed math question.

How To Participate (United Kingdom)

The United Kingdom competition was announced on the official Disney UK Instagram account. It is exclusive to residents of the United Kingdom, and only one grand prize will be given to one lucky winner.

The participant must be at least 18 years old to enter the competition.

This competition is easier to enter since it's much simpler and can be done in a couple of minutes. However, unlike the US and Canadian competitions, it's not possible to have as many entries per person.

Fans wanting to participate will have to visit this Disney UK Instagram post or Disney UK's Facebook post:

To participate, all one has to do is reply to the question in the description, "which Disney Villain would they like to meet in Disney Dreamlight Valley?" The winner will be notified Tuesday, November 1st, 2022, 12 PM BST, and they must reply with a comment on the post within a week.

If the winner has already been playing Disney Dreamlight Valley on another platform, it's best to enable cloud saves for cross-progression so that they can keep where they left off when switching from one place to the other.

Disney Dreamlight Valley is available now on Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
