The With Great Power quest is one of the trickiest quests that players can encounter while exploring the world of Disney Dreamlight Valley. It will be automatically added to the quest list once Saviors find Ursula trapped inside a cave in Dazzle Beach.
The With Great Power Quest is highly important, as it reveals crucial information relating to the curse spreading in the valley, the Forgetting. Freeing Ursula will also unlock a new friend in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Sadly, hanging out with her to level up the friendship level is difficult, as she's always in the water.
How To Free Ursula In Disney Dreamlight Valley
To Free Ursula In Disney Dreamlight Valley, players must complete the With Great Power quest and retrieve the Orb of Power. This can be done by unlocking a hidden cave and solving all of its puzzles.
How To Get To The Hidden Cave
First, Saviors must unlock the Dazzle Beach biome by paying 1,000 Dreamlight, then enter the cave located on the west side of the beach. There, Ursula will be waiting and asks for help to be set free. She gives players a Crystal Key to unlock a different cave on Dazzle Beach.
From Ursula's cave, players need to retrace their steps and head to the Orb Statue located on a patch of grass. Once there, they should head to the rocks behind the Orb Statue and then put the Crystal Key on the stand next to the rock.
How To Solve The Puzzles
There are three puzzles: mining, farming, and cooking.
Mining Puzzle
Upon entering the hidden cave, players should interact with the stone tablet that says, "Provide the gem that matches best to continue on your hero's quest." There are three statues surrounding the tablet and each has a specific color. The goal is to gather three gems with the same colors and place them on the statue that matches. It's worth keeping in mind here that this step will require a lot of Energy in Disney Dreamlight Valley. These gems are:
- Peridot (green): Found in Dazzle Beach and Peaceful Meadow.
- Aquamarine (blue): Found in Dazzle Beach and Forest of Valor.
- Garnet (red): Found in Plaza and Peaceful Meadow.
Players can speed up the process a little by hanging out with a friend who has a mining bonus to increase the chances of getting gems.
Farming Puzzle
The second stone tablet is right next to three statues, and each of them has a dirt patch in front of it. The tablet says, "Discover the right crops to grow to continue on below. One is underground, the other gold and brown. What remains is red and round." Here, Saviors need to plant three items and wait for the crops to grow. The items are:
- Carrot
- Wheat
- Tomato
To get the Carrot and Wheat Seed, Saviors will need to fully upgrade Goofy's Stall in Peaceful Meadow. As for the last item, the first upgrade of Goofy's Stall in Dazzle Beach unlocks Tomato Seed. Once all three are ready, players can harvest them and continue to the final puzzle.
Cooking Puzzle
The final stone tablet says, "The final riddle, let it be known: to cook and eat what you have grown." To solve it, players need to cook a dish in Disney Dreamlight Valley. First, they should approach the cooking station near the tablet and put all the previously harvested ingredients in the pot to cook a Veggie Pasta. Once it's done, they'll simply have to eat it to remove the last barrier.
Finally, players can head to the pond and use the Fishing Rod in Disney Dreamlight Valley to fish out the Orb of Power. It's then a simple case of getting out of the cave and inserting the orb in the Orb Statue to free Ursula from the cave, thus completing the With Great Power quest.
