Being one of the last vegetables that Disney Dreamlight Valley players obtain, Pumpkins are very valuable. It takes players time to unlock the Forgotten Lands where Pumpkins and Pumpkin Seeds can be purchased. Aside from being a good method for making a colossal amount of Star Coins, there are many recipes that use Pumpkins.
While there are a few crafting recipes that use Pumpkins, the majority of those recipes are for cooking meals that have Pumpkins in them. One example of this would be a 3-Star Recipe for Pumpkin Puffs. Here is how Disney Dreamlight Valley players can make Pumpkin Puffs.
How to Make Pumpkin Puffs
In order to make this recipe, Disney Dreamlight Valley players will only need three ingredients. The three ingredients for Pumpkin Puffs are one Pumpkin, one Egg, and one Cheese. In order to get Pumpkins, players will first need to unlock the Forgotten Lands. In order to do this, players must collect 15,000 Dreamlight and have previously unlocked the Sunlit Plateau. Once the Forgotten Lands have been unlocked, players can repair and upgrade Goofy's Stall. That is where they will be able to purchase Pumpkins or grow their own with Pumpkin Seeds.
Eggs and Cheese can be purchased from Remy's Restaurant. In order to repair and open the restaurant, players will first need to complete the quest to bring Remy to the village. After Remy's Restaurant is open, players can go into the kitchen and purchase ingredients from Remy. Cheese costs 180 Star Coins and Eggs cost 220 Star Coins.
How Much Energy is Restored by Pumpkin Puffs?
Being a 3-Star recipe, Pumpkin Puffs restore a good amount of energy. If Disney Dreamlight Valley players choose to eat Pumpkin Puffs, they will regain 1,466 Energy. While there are higher ranked recipes that restore more energy, Pumpkin Puffs are cheap and easy to make. Unlike some recipes however, Pumpkin Puffs cannot be made with anything else but Pumpkins, Eggs, and Cheese.
Attempting to use another vegetable will result in a different kind of vegetable puff recipe at best and Grilled Vegetables at worst. So it is important for players to make sure they are using the correct ingredients in case they don't have many ingredients to spare.
Are There Any Other Uses for Pumpkin Puffs?
Aside from eating them, Disney Dreamlight Valley players can also give Pumpkin Puffs to Disney characters as a gift. Like with all items and meals in the game, Pumpkin Puffs have a chance of being a daily favorite item that rewards extra progress toward the next Friendship Level. This is a helpful way to improve the chosen Companion Role for that character.
Not only that, but Pumpkin Puffs can also show up as an order at Remy's Restaurant. Just like with favorite items, these orders also can help players level up their Friendship with characters that are not at Level 10 yet.
