While Friendship Quests in Disney Dreamlight Valley don't necessarily have any connection with the main story of the game and are just individual side stories, there are some instances where overlap does occur. One good example of this is some of the Friendship Quests involving Anna and Kristoff. In the main story, Kristoff loses his memories of Anna due to one of Ursula's spells.

As players increase their Friendship Level with Kristoff, he will eventually offer the quest Frozen Memories which finally helps him begin to remember Anna. This guide will show Disney Dreamlight Valley players how to complete this quest and restore Kristoff's memories.

How to Complete Frozen Memories

After getting this quest from Kristoff, the first step is to find Elsa and talk to her. She tells Disney Dreamlight Valley players that she has been talking to Merlin, and she has an idea for a spell that might help Kristoff. In order to make a block of ice containing a memory of Anna, Elsa asks players to find six Aquamarines and three vials of Swamp Water.

Aquamarines can be found in Dazzle Beach and the Forest of Valor. Since this quest requires six of them, it is recommended that players bring along a Companion who has the Mining Role as this is an effective way of potentially getting two or more Aquamarines each time one spawns. If players run out of spots to mine, more rocks will spawn after a short time.

The Swamp Water can be obtained in the Glade of Trust. Along the river there will be sparkles that Disney Dreamlight Valley players can interact with to pick up Swamp Water. This is also the same place where players get Falling Water for another quest. Once all the ingredients have been gathered, players will need to return to Elsa and give them to her. Elsa attempts the spell, but then nothing happens. After a brief pause, Elsa asks players to get help from Anna as apparently the missing ingredient from the spell was some of Anna's hair.

Talk to Anna

After talking to Elsa, the quest will update and Disney Dreamlight Valley players will need to find Anna and talk to her. After explaining the situation, Anna happily agrees to give some of her hair if it means helping Kristoff regain his memories. Once they have the hair, players will need to return to Elsa and give her the hair. The spell works this time, and she is able to create a Magic Ice Block. Afterwards, Elsa tells players that they will need to place the block somewhere in the village and break it with the pickaxe.

Breaking the Ice

It doesn't matter where players put the Ice Block. As long as it is placed somewhere, the quest will advance to the next stage. It may seem counterproductive, but Disney Dreamlight Valley players will then need to break out their trusty Pickaxe and use it on the Ice Block. This doesn't destroy the Ice Block, and instead, it reveals an ice statue of Anna.

At this point, players will need to locate Kristoff and tell him about the ice statue. Kristoff is very interested in seeing a statue made out of ice. Upon seeing it, he begins to remember the events of Frozen. While his memories aren't fully back yet, he does remember his love for Anna and that concludes this quest.

Disney Dreamlight Valley is available now on Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
