Back in April 2022, Gameloft announced a brand-new life simulation game called Disney Dreamlight Valley. The first trailer was released, too, depicting a very colorful world where players can hang out with a huge cast of Disney characters, including the villains. While not many details were given, the trailer depicted elements of a crafting system along with a town and home design feature. An early access date was given for Disney Dreamlight Valley as well, and this guide will explain how players can be among the first to jump in on September 6th and make friends with their favorite Disney characters.

While navigating the official website for Disney Dreamlight Valley, players will see an option to pre-order. Clicking this button will show which platforms the game will be available for. Disney Dreamlight Valley can also be pre-ordered directly through the platforms listed on the website, like the Nintendo store, for example.

Players should keep in mind that certain platforms like Steam and PlayStation are currently wishlist only for Disney Dreamlight Valley. With early access just around the corner, the only version of Disney Dreamlight Valley that is available for pre-order is the Founder's Edition. Pre-ordering the Founder's Edition will unlock Early Access for players the moment that the game goes live.

What is in the Founder's Edition?

Aside from giving players Early Access, the Founder's Edition comes with a bunch of exclusive cosmetic items and in-game currency that will be used in Disney Dreamlight Valley's Star Path (the game's equivalent of a Battle Pass) to unlock a wide variety of cosmetic items for players to enjoy in this upcoming life simulation game.

Players interested in pre-ordering the Founder's Edition should be aware that there are three different versions of the Founder's Edition to choose from. While they all unlock Early Access, the more expensive versions give a lot more cosmetic goodies than other versions. The versions and their contents are as follows:

  • Standard Edition - 8,000 Moonstones, 2 Wearable Items, 9 Decorative Items, and 3 Design Motiffs
  • Deluxe Edition - 14,500 Moonstones, all items included in Standard Edition, Celestial Sea Turtle Animal Companion, 7 Wearable items, 10 Decorative Items, a (digital) Deluxe Jersey, and a Mickey Mouse Donut Headband
  • Ultimate Edition - 20,000 Moonstones, all items included in Standard and Deluxe Editions, Regal Fox Animal Companion, 4 Wearable Items, 15 Decorative Items, a (digital) Ultimate Jersey, and a Mickey Mouse Donut Headband

Players that have an active Xbox Game Pass subscription should be aware that they do not need to pre-order the Founder's Edition to get Early Access and will instead be able to play the game the moment it is live.

Regardless of what platform interested players choose, the Founder's Edition will give them plenty of extra goodies to start their Disney adventure with as they get a first look at Disney Dreamlight Valley next week.

Disney Dreamlight Valley is set to hit early access on September 6th and will be available on Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
