Disney Dreamlight Valley's large community of gamers is eager for a fan-favorite character that has been teased from the beginning to come to the game soon. The popular life-simulation game featuring many well-known Disney characters has been in early access since September but has already had three significant content updates, with more on the way. Just last month, Mirabel from Encanto and Olaf from Frozen joined the game in the third update titled "Festival of Friendship," adding more quests and content.

Since Disney Dreamlight Valley has been available to play, fans have been requesting specific characters they want to see come to the valley. In January, the development team released its roadmap for 2023 teasing several new Star paths as well as specific content set to make its way to the game over this year. In April, Simba and Nala from The Lion King are set to be added alongside a new realm. Recently, however, avid fans have noticed that one specific, memorable character who had appeared not only on the loading screen for the game but in promos before it was released is still absent: Belle.

Disney Dreamlight Valley Fans Want Belle To Be Added Soon

Belle from Disney's 1991 Oscar Award Winning film Beauty and the Beast has still not joined Disney Dreamlight Valley despite being heavily involved in the early game promotion and appearing on the loading screen. Some fans on Reddit stated they would prefer to see her added earlier than later, but other gamers pointed out she was already teased in the roadmap for 2023 as coming during the early part of summer. During the graphic released in January, the blurb for that specific summer update states, "A Princess races into the valley." Now that could mean any number of Disney Princesses, but most likely, Belle will play a crucial part in the plot so far. Gameloft may not be jumping to add her yet, but it recently released a Disney Dreamlight Valley update that fixed several bugs plaguing players.

It's also important for eager players to remember that the game is still in early access and has not gone free to play yet. Right now, it is unknown when exactly it will go free to play, but it would make sense for Belle to release when it does or shortly before. Even though the Disney Dreamlight Valley has not been out that long, it has amassed a community with many talented gamers who have designed interesting custom dresses using the in-game customization tools, such as one talented fan who made a burger-themed dress in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

Players who have already completed the most recent update and quests for Mirabel and Olaf and the new Star Path won't have to wait long for the next update. What is clear is that 2023 is going to be an exciting year for Disney Dreamlight Valley that will surely have something for everyone.

Disney Dreamlight Valley is available now in early access for Mac, Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
