Video game developer Arkane Studios releases gameplay footage for Dishonored 2 that features protagonist Emily Kaldwin fighting clockwork soldier enemies.

Several days ago, fans of Dishonored 2 were able to get a look at a Low Chaos playthrough of the Clockwork Mansion featuring one of the game's two main characters Emily Kaldwin, as she primarily stuck to the shadows with a stealth-driven strategy. Now, the developers at Arkane Studios have decided to unleash even more gameplay from the forthcoming title, with today's footage focused on even more ways for Dishonored 2's heroine to tackle the mission.

As seen in the video below from the YouTuber known as Arekkz Gaming, fans can get a good look at Emily's various abilities and power combinations, such as her capacity to summon an "entity from the Void" which bewitches enemies and lets her either neutralize them or pass by them completely unnoticed. Not to mention, the clip from Arekkz's visit to Arkane Studios shows how Emily will interact with Dishonored 2's robotic clockwork soldiers during moments of stealth and in combat as well.

Although the Dishonored 2 footage above contains some brutal bloodshed, it's important to mention that fans who pick up the title aren't going to be expected to solely play the game on the offensive at all times. As a matter of fact, Arkane Studios has declared that the title allows for people to beat it entirely without having to kill anyone.

Of course, as previously mentioned, Emily is one of the choices fans have to play as in Dishonored 2, for the stealth-action title also features the return of the protagonist from the original entry in the franchise, Corvo Attano. If one considers the Clockwork Mansion mission highlighting Emily versus the clockwork soldiers to be an enticing bit of gameplay, a recently released story trailer focusing on Corvo can provide gamers with a better idea of the title's plot so as to buttress the clip with some additional sense of purpose.

Should all of the promotional materials for Dishonored 2 released thus far have piqued the interest of gaming fans, it's worth noting that those who pre-order the title will get early access upon its release. More specifically, players who reserve their copies will be able to play Dishonored 2 a full day ahead of those who plan on buying the game on launch day.

Considering all of the gameplay put out for Dishonored 2 so far, it seems as if fans are going to be up to their eyeballs in terms of playable content. As a matter of fact, Arkane Studios has stated that in order to totally understand the game's narrative, players must take part in multiple playthroughs for a full experience. Hopefully, though, Dishonored 2 won't suffer any day one issues in the way of bugs, glitches, and technical errors that could mar the enjoyment for fans of the series.

Dishonored 2 is set to launch on November 11, 2016 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
